Paul Needed to Learn About Love

Confounded = SUGXEW – pour together, confuse, confound, trouble, throw in consternation, agitate

1 Corinthians 13:1-3; if I do not have love -then I am a noisy gong, nothing, profit nothing, Confounding!

When Paul returned he no longer CONFOUNDED but he:
REASONED – DIALOEGOMAI – discuss, address
Acts 17:2,17; 18:4,19;  19:8-9
PERSUADED – PEITHO – persuade, have confidence
Acts 17:4; 18:4; 19:8,26; 21:13-14; 26:26-28; 28:23-24

How much more new Christians do we take time to teach them about love or push them to evangelize.
If Paul needed three years how much more new Christians.

Apostles studied 3 years under Jesus, who endured persecution.
Church studied 3 years under Apostles, who endured persecution.
Paul studied 3 years under Jesus, then endured the persecution.

Timothy studied 3 yea rs under the church, then joined with Paul. Acts 14:8; 16:1

First 3 years of a Christians life vital, to prepare them to go to work with Christ.
